Capsicum & Paneer Stir Fry


Ingredients

1 cup Paneer cut into thin long strips


1/2 green capsicum cut into thin long strips


1/2 red capsicum cut into thin long strips


2 tsp garlic paste


1 tsp coriander seeds


1 whole dry red chilli


1 tsp chopped ginger


2 green chillies roughly chopped


1 tomato finely chopped

1 tbsp kasuri methi

1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves


1 tbsp cream


2 tsp oil


salt to taste


Method
  • Pound the coriander seeds and red chilli together and then keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the garlic paste and fry on a low flame for 1-2 minutes
  • Add pounded spices,ginger,green chillies and fry for another min
  • Then add green capsicum,red capsicum and cook on a low flame for 1 min or little tender
  • Add tomatoes and fry till it leaves out oil and then add kasuri methi,salt and fry again for few seconds
  • Add paneer and cream and mix gently and then garnish it with coriander and then serve hot with roti

  38. I am very fond of paneer recipes. I hope they add fats to the body but still I am happy adding that extra fat if it makes my stomach satisfied.

    Capsicum and paneer stir fry... this combination, I never had before. I dont know whether I can get paneer for prepration. I will try some of the nearby stores.

    Today I prepared this one!! with little changes. I do not get colored capsicum so used only the green ones.and added carrot strips also
    It was too good!
